Quick & Easy Pound Cake

Lemon Cream Cheese Pound Cake
This is one of the easiest & tastiest homemade pound cake.
The Ingredients
Three cups plain flour (sifted)(I prefer Swan's Down)
Three cups gradulated sugar
Three sticks margarine (I prefer Parkay)
Six Large Eggs
One 8ozs stick Cream Cheese (I prefer Philadelphia)
0ne & Half Teaspoon Lemon Flavoring
The Preparations :
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease and lightly floured bundt cake pan.
Cream together cream cheese,margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs,one and a time ,beating well after each addition.
Add lemon flavoring.
Mix in flour, just enough to mix.
Spoon unto pan.
Let bake for 45 to 55 minutes,depending on your oven.
When you smell the aroma and it takes you back to the good ole days,it is ready.
Tip :Do not use self-rising flour, the batter will be thick and yes the cake will be moist.
Suggestion: Eat the warm cake with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream.

mmmmmmm good.....and good pound cake doesnt need Blue Bell or any other adornment. Just plain cake, that is good eating!
i agree this lb. cake does not need anything to go along with it. . . it is DELICIOUS! all by itself.
